How to Get 100 Mbps
If you had a 50 Mbps Internet speed plan it has been automatically upgraded to 100 Mbps, you don't have to do a thing! Enjoy your new Internet speed to seamlessly stream, play, work and learn faster than before.
How to Get the 1 Gig Connection
If you had a 250 Mbps Internet speed plan it has been automatically upgraded to the the 1 Gig plan, you don't have to do a thing! Enjoy your new Internet speed allowing you to stream, play, work and learn without limits on usage or devices.

When do these changes take effect?
Sea Ranch Connect's speed changes are already in place and took effect on September 1st, 2021. Sea Ranch Connect has made the updates to the network already, and you should not have to do anything to take advantage of the changes.
What kind of speeds should I expect?
- 100 Mbps subscribers should see 100 Mbps or better download and upload speeds when directly connected to your subscriber gateway.
- 1 Gbps subscribers should see on average 920 Mbps for download and upload speeds when directly connected to your subscriber gateway.
Your experience may vary based on a number of factors. Are you directly connected via an ethernet cable or using wireless? What speeds are your devices actually capable of reaching? Are speeds still symmetrical, the same up and down?
Yes, Sea Ranch Connect Internet services are still symmetrical. Your connection is set to download and upload at the same speed.
Why don't I see full gigabit speeds when on the 1 Gbps plan?
If you are subscribed to Sea Ranch Connect's 1 Gbps plan, you have a 1 gigabit connection, but this does not guarantee that you will get 1 gigabit speeds due to overhead on the network and the equipment in your home. However, you will get you as close to 1 gigabit speeds as possible when using a wired connection. Sea Ranch Connect has logged this as being on average 920 Mbps. You may experience higher or lower depending on a number of factors such as your device capabilities, if you are on Wi-Fi or directly wired, and overall community network usage.
